Quilting on the Curve started out as a longarm quilting business. Along the way I had the opportunity to work with a local quilt shop and design a block of the month program for them. I actually did it three years running.
I had a quilt hanging on the wall in my home that I had designed and had some interest in that design, but it was my godmother and her friend who wouldn't let it rest. I ended up writing my first pattern because of their insistence.
After several patterns, my sister decided she had an idea or two she wanted to share with all of you also. So now, Quilting on the Curve is not only my longarm business, but also the name of the quilt company my sister and I use to publish our patterns.
My husband actually came up with the name for my business. It had absolutely nothing to do with quilting and everything to do with where we lived. We lived between two curves at the time, so the directions to our home always involved a curve. We have since moved from that location, but we still live near a curve in the road.
My husband is a huge support system for me and my sister is my elephant. I say that she is my elephant, because sometimes that is what takes to get me going, and she tends to push!!!
Thank you for stopping by the website. I hope you see something you like or at least something to inspire you.
